Having successfully worked with the college on previous sites, JGA Ltd were employed to provide the designs and project-manage the equipment installation for this project.

Features: The design provided new dry, cold and freezer rooms providing a higher volume of storage which meant that deliveries would be required less frequently. We were able to reutilise some existing equipment and make some welcome savings to the project cost. A new pass through dishwash system was also installed with a sperate entrance providing a great flow and segregation of dirties as required. For the servery, we worked with the structural engineers to create 3 separate bays between the columns which reduced queuing. The creations of a separate coffee station also meant that the main servery could be locked down in the evening while the coffee bar could remain open for the evening classes generating additional revenue.

Challenges: From design to installation, the entire contract was completed in under 12 weeks. JGA Ltd designs complimented the interior design theme created by ECE Architecture.  This was a complete strip out requiring an entirely new services infrastructure. The project was completed on time and to budget ready for the September term.
